About

I provide independent technical advisory and oversight for international nature-based carbon projects in the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) and international Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) methodologies treating them as long-term natural capital investments. My work focuses on rigorous project design, methodology and regulatory compliance, implementation planning, and verification with experience on projects from across the globe in Australia, South-East Asia, South America, and Africa.

My work focuses on strengthening technical foundations early and providing technical guidance at each project stage. By doing so I work to reduce environmental, regulatory, operational, and financial risk, improve credit delivery certainty, and ensure carbon projects deliver genuine, verifiable abatement that stands up to scrutiny from regulators, investors, and credit buyers.

Track Record

Project Feasibility & Investment Strategy

  • Led carbon projects from financial and regulatory feasibility through to credit issuance under Australian and international carbon methodologies
  • Technical Lead for the development of a carbon investment fund, directing AUD $50 million into carbon project development
  • Conducted feasibility and early-stage project assessments across Australia and Southeast Asia under ACCU and VCS methodologies (vegetation, agriculture, forestry, and blue carbon)

Project Design & On-Ground Implementation

  • Designed and led large-scale reforestation-for-conservation programs, including a one-million-tree initiative across Australia's subtropics, tropics, and Papua New Guinea
  • Managed and provided on-ground oversight during implementation of reforestation planting sites across Australia, including field monitoring and data collection
  • Hands-on experience in nurseries, seed collection, and field monitoring for both conservation and carbon reforestation projects

  • Provided technical development, and oversight, of monitoring, reporting, and verification processes for vegetation and agricultural carbon projects across Australia, Southeast Asia, and South America
